As a part of curriculum first year Diploma students (29 students ) have visited Raichur Indian Medical Association Common Treatment Plant RIMACT (i.e Biomedical waste management plant) on 03/05/ 23 at 10:00 a.m. along with the teacher Dr. Veeresh Yadav to learn the certain techniques related to biomedical waste management such as Incinerators for the treatment of waste under category 1 and 2 (i.e. yellow category) , Autoclave for the treatment of waste under the category 3,4,6 & 7( i.e. blue category) , Metal sharps manager for the treatment of metal sharps under category 4 (Red category) , land filling for the incinerators ash, chemicals etc. The unit head Mr. Jay Kumar, Mr Chandrasekhar and Mr Mohammed Ibrahim explained in detail about techniques of recycle. Every student has understood the techniques and clarified their doubts. Students were happy with the visit. Overall the visit was very informative and memorable one.
