The NSS unit of N.E.T Pharmacy College organized a celebration for World Asthma Day on March 7th, 2024 in the AV room of the central library. The event was presided over by Dr. H Doddayya, the President of the function and Principal of N.E.T Pharmacy College.Mr. Binu K M, the Convenor and NSS Programme Officer of NET PC in Raichur, was present on the dais for the event. The programme was skillfully anchored by Ms. Rincu Varughese.Dr. Syed Mohammed, a Lecturer from the Department of Pharmacy Practice, extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries on the dais. Following this, Joshna Abhi delivered a welcoming speech, and Farhan delivered a preamble speech. Bouquets were presented to all the dignitaries on the dais as a token of appreciation.Mr. Binu K M, an Associate Professor and NSS Programme Officer from the Department of Pharmacy Practice, addressed the gathering by sharing his expertise on World Asthma Day. He motivated interns, Pharm D 4th and 5th year students to organize more programs and celebrate upcoming health days. Following this, seminar presentations were conducted, with topics focusing on aerosol therapy in asthma, challenges in asthma management, the role of clinical pharmacists, and myths and facts about asthma.

Sixty NSS volunteers participated in the event, which aimed to raise awareness about the challenges faced by asthmatics. The vote of thanks was delivered by Rajesh.
