NSS unit of N.E.T Pharmacy College, observed World No tabacco Day Celebration on 31st May 2024 in AV room of central library. Chief guest of the programme Dr .Mushin Riyaz Lecture Department of pharmacy practice, NET Pharmacy collage,Raichur. Dr. Syed Mohammed Lecture Department of Pharmacy practice, NET pharmacy college, Raichur. Convenor Mr. Binu K M NSS Programme Officer, NET PC, Raichur, on the dias. The programme was anchored by Joshna S abhi.
The Programme commenced with invocation song by Miss Shradha and team. Joshna S Abhi welcome the chief guest and other staff members and students , preamble speech by Rubeena. The bouquet was presented to all the dignitaries on the dias. The Customary lamp lighting was done by the dignitaries.

Mr. Binu KM spoke about the world No tabacco day and addressed the Gathering by sharing his knowledge about world No tabacco day and motivated Interns and Pharm D students to conduct more programmes and celebrate upcoming Health days. Subsequently, Seminar presentation on socio -environment and phychosocial predictors of smoking susceptibility among adolescents, Smoking and increased health Risks, Methods of smoking cessation.
60 NSS volunteers participated on the day of the event. This event aim to spur momentum towards a smoke free future Vote of thanks was delivered by Joshna S Abhi, Pharm.D intern . The programme concluded with National Anthem followed by high tea.
