This was organised as a part of Foundation Course in new curriculum for MBBS 2019 as per Graduate Medical Regulations (GMR)2019,On 31-08-2019 at Dr SR Hegade Hall by Medical Education Unit , Navodaya Medical College Raichur.

Ceremony began with Introduction, inviting the dignitaries on to the stage and welcome address by Dr Bande Nawaz, Faculty of Forensic Medicine & I/c HOD, Coordinator for MEU.

Dignitaries on stage were Dr B Vijaychandra Principal, Dr A.S. Anand Vice-Principal, Prof  & HOD of Pathology, Dr Vishal Salve Prof & HOD of Anatomy, Dr R.H. Taklikar Prof & HOD of Physiology, Dr Vishal Kalaskar Prof & HOD of Biochemistry.

Then Dr A.S. Anand Vice-Principal , Prof & HOD of Pathology gave a brief description & academic excellence  about Dr B Vijaychandra , Principal.

Next white coat ceremony began by distributing the aprons to students by Dignitaries on the stage, later heads of department and faculty of pre-para clinical departments delivered the white coats to newly admitted students.

Dr Srinivasa Rao , Professor of Biochemistry & Curriculum Committee Member gave vote of thanks

Ceremony concluded with National Anthem followed by High tea for all.
