Navodaya Dental College and Hospital conducted Anti-Ragging Workshop on 28th November 2018. The workshop was conducted to sensitise the first year Dental Students about ragging and the necessary measures taken to prevent the same at campus.
Dr. Shiva Sharan K, Member Dental Council of India was invited as chief guest. Sir emphasised the issues related to ragging, the measures taken to eradicate it and detailed the laws against the same.
Dr. Santosh Hunasgi, Principal, Navodaya Dental College, Presided over the function and stressed on the measures taken by the institute to curb the ragging by forming anti-ragging committee, Flying squads and displaying posters to create awareness about ragging and punishments for the same. Dr. Vanishree M , Vice-Principal graced the occasion.
Mime act was performed by the Dental students in this regard, that showcased the ill-effect of ragging. This program was organised by Dr. Vinod Kumar, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Dr. Praveen Kumar NH, Dr. Parveen Reddy KM and Dr. Ramesh Goud.
