Oral cancer screening free camp was organised by Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, Tobacco Cesstion Centre , Navodaya dental college ,Raichur with co operation of APMC office gunj, Raichur for the workers in APMC yard to screen oral cancer, premalignant lesions and conditions. Carbon monooxide breath analyzer was used to measure the levels of carbon monoxide in the blood in smokers and non smokers. Total 58 patients were screened among them 6 were OSMF and 4 cases were Leukoplakia. All patients were prescribed antioxidants and nicotine chewing tablets.10 interns participated in the programme and oral cancer educational awareness was created. Patients were referred to Navodaya Dental college for further needful treatment .
