On the occasion of WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY(May 31st) Dept of community medicine ,Navodaya Medical College, Raichur  has organized rally to create awareness regarding the ill effects of tobacco use.The rally was inaugurated by Dr. Bheemayya Badesab(HOD),Dr. Shakir sir (THO Raichur),Dr. Ahemadi(MO PHC harizanwada).The rally started from Harizanwada PHC and continued till DHO office.Our students also performed road show on  adverse effects of tobacco use at Theen kandil circle ,Raichur. The following staff actively participated in the programme: Dr. Sujatha(asst.professor),Dr. Laxmi(asst.professor),Bhaskar sir(Statistician),Dr. Satya Reddy(pg),Mr. Narasimha reddy(msw) and 6th Semister students are actively participated in the program.
